A Real Gem with an amazing Bistro.Ocean front lots. Private, friendly and helpful . Real indigenous crafts and gift items. You need to be watchful to find the turn-off but once you are there you won't want to leave.
Beautiful views from camping spaces as well from cabins. Huge play grounds for kids!! Also has a laundry mat !! And showers. Cabins have everything you need !! Our Grandkids loved the loft! Can't wait to come back!
Beautiful, relaxing place to visit. Sit and watch the water, salmon and eagles. Wifi spotty, but it's a get a way so who cares? Try to get a spot on the spit, it has the best views! Great beach fishing in August if that's your thing. Check out the Bistro for a good meal.
Great tent camping but the lack of affordable food kinda sucks (also the campsites are pretty small)
Somehow we found this park and what a jewel it is! We are traveling from the US and didn't realize it was a 3 day weekend in Canada but we managed to score a waterfront site! This park is beautiful, clean, well maintained. The staff is so friendly. The view out our front window (RV) is breathtaking; we have been watching the fisherman, eagles, seals, cruise ships and boats. There is so much to do on this island but we don't want to leave this view! We have extended our stay twice and don't mind having to move sites, we just want to stay in this beautiful, peaceful place. We're now in another site back in the trees but it's beautiful too! We're making reservations for next year when we can stay a couple weeks or more. Someone commented on the rough road getting in here; it is gravel but if you go SLOW, it won't rattle your dishes. The same goes with driving over the ropes, which are put there to make people go SLOW, and if you drive SLOW (which you should in an RV park anyway) they aren't an issue. The road coming in here was only about a half mile so it's no big deal anyway. While we were here, we checked out many other RV parks in area just to see what the other parks were like and didn't find one that gets close to this one. It will be a destination for us next year.
