A recent visit to the Sportsman for a family birthday celebration was excellent from the greeting, to attention from server topped off with flavourful,generous, beautiful food! All 6 in our party were very satisfied!!!
Food was decent but not great, and service was the same. I've heard good and bad things from different people. Can't recommend or discourage. Probably depends on the type of food that you like.
Very nice and clean restaurant. Pizza was good,Greek platter too but nothing special as we love Greek food! And have better experiences.I would love to give a higher rate but due to the attitude of the waitress I have to give it only one star.I think that one star is even too much!!!! We have been waiting 50 minutes for our main course. Not a big deal. (Only 6 people in the restaurant)!!!Family of four with two young kids. When I noticed that other customers were already served, I politely asked when we can expect our food , and Ive been told than we do not have to be rude and mean.....?????!!!!! The waitress has never come and asked if the food is good or if we would like to order some more to drink etc......as soon as I paid my bill , Ive been told that I will not be served there anymore?????!!!!!! and that I should find a restaurant with better sevice....
Packed house on our visit but the 2 girls servicing everyone were very pleasant and well organized. Outstanding seafood pasta was cooked perfectly with plenty of shrimps, mussels and fish. Seafood special of shrimp, local halibut and salmon was served with fresh cook veg. Again very tasty. Great views of the wharf as the sun set and with all the large picture windows everyone gets to enjoy the scenery. Nice to see some BC beer and wine on the menu at very reasonable prices
Service was a bit slow but the food was good and staff was great.
